Sann Knipple

Sann Knipple was elected to the Board of Education in 2009. She has resided in the Chicagoland area for 16 years. Sann and her husband, Brian, have two children who will be attending school in District 57.

Sann graduated with a BS in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech. She moved to the Chicago area to take a job with UOP in Des Plaines. She was fortunate to have the opportunity to spend several years working abroad in oil refineries around the globe. Upon returning to the Chicago area, she met her husband and settled in Mount Prospect. She subsequently worked as a senior sales consultant for Siebel Systems, a customer relationship management software company. She is currently enjoying the opportunity to spend time raising her children and serving the district on the Board of Education.

Sann has also been active in the St. Mark Preschool Advisory Board and the St. Raymond lector ministry, Mom’s Plus ministry, and environmental committee. Her interests include conservation, clean government, and the education of all of our children.
