Bill Willetts

Mr. Willetts comes to the district with extensive transportation knowledge having served as the transportation director for Community Consolidated School District 15 in Palatine from 1998-2006 where he directed the daily operations and managed 193 employees for over 13,000 students with 138 buses and 15 schools. During his tenure, the transportation department also received the 2003 Leland E. G. Larson Student Transportation Quality Award, an award given by the National Association of Pupil Transportation recognizing and rewarding school districts that are committed to improving the quality of their school transportation services.

Most recently, Bill has served as an interim transportation director at Community Unit School District 302 (Kaneland). Earlier in his educational career, Mr. Willetts served administrative roles in Indiana and Montana as principal and assistant principal and worked at the higher education level.
